Kirna Zabete for Target faux leather skirt -- Alice + Olivia Suede Over-the-knee boots -- Nasty Gal Baroque Sweater

Remember this leather skirt from the summer? This time I styled it with cooler temperatures in mind for a meeting and some shopping in Georgetown.  I kept it primarily head-to-toe black but broke it up with the baroque pattern on one of my favorite sweaters. That thing is super warm and always makes a great graphic impact!

Anthropologie tunic -- Alice + Olivia Suede Over-the-knee boots

Have you ever worn something straight out of the dressing room? And request that the sales associate awkwardly remove the security sensor from the article of clothing while it is still physically on your person because you don't want to take it off? Yeah, that happened with this dress. Kell and I were checking out the new-ish Reddz Trading in Georgetown when I came across this dress from Anthropologie for a mere $20. I've been super into the drop-waist dress with over-the-knee boots look lately, and once you throw in a floral print, it's all over.

ZeroUV Sunglasses -- Reiss Culottes -- South Moon Under Bracelets -- Ann Taylor Clutch -- Warehouse Blouse

With the waning daylight hours, I've been trying to spend as much time outdoors as possible, even if it simply means taking a leisurely pre-dinner walk.  I find that culottes are one of the best apparel choices for this activity.  This pair is from one of my favorite brands, Reiss (also here and here), and works so perfectly because of its crisp, tailored shape and perfect creases.
